You can use any type of camera with MyDocuSafe.com™. While we do suggest you use a digital camera, good results can be achieved from a 35mm camera. When you have your film developed, simply request a digital disk to be included to make uploading your pictures easy.

When taking pictures, make certain you take many angles to insure that should damage occur, you can provide the "before" and "after".

Taking pictures of your property should include both the exterior and interior. Do close ups of personal items as needed.

Take pictures to indicate the immediate damage to your property in order to assist your insurance company or state agency. Make sure you name your picture with the appropriate title. E.g. “House Exterior Damage1” etc.
